Roof: Journalism shouldn’t include partisan politics

Posted

I find it interesting that the Daily State News would print an Associated Press article by two Trump derangement syndrome reporters who conjured up anti-American bigotry at the Trump rally in New York (“Trump’s NY event turns into a rally with crude and racist insults”). The entire article centered only on specific, out-of-context remarks and dark jokes. Not once did they bother reporting the comments of the major players at the rally, other than by innuendo.

Yet, a simple visit to the internet reveals the truth. Multiple outlets report standing-room-only crowds and the glib lightheartedness of the event. They quote specific speakers and tell how their comments drew reaction. It’s almost as if there were actual “reporters” there instead of party sycophants.

To demonstrate the bias, a facing page says, “Harris rallies voters at multiple Philadelphia stops.” This is fortified by her copy of Donald Trump’s visit to a Detroit barbershop. Her “rally,” however, shows an empty barbershop with only two barbers and a cameraman.

Thank God there’s an internet (and individuals like Elon Musk), where people can find truth and journalism without partisan politics.
