Bidens to ride out Tropical Storm Debbie at North Shores home

LEWES — According to President Joe Biden’s public schedule, following a meeting with the Texas Rangers celebrating their 2023 World Series win and a trip to Wilmington to confer with campaign staff, he and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden will bunker in their North Shores home around 9 p.m. Aug. 8.

The Federal Aviation Administration has placed a temporary flight restriction across the area until Aug. 12, which generally coincides with the first family’s travels. However, these end times are known to change.

Since making the announcement to not seek a second term from this area, this is the first time the Bidens have returned.
