Delaware State University to celebrate largest research funding commitment ever
Delaware State University will celebrate the recent award of an $18.36 million research grant from the National Institute of Health on Nov. 30.
The event will be held at 11 a.m. in the second floor Martin Luther King Jr. Student Center. The five-year grant will fund the University’s establishment of an Interdisciplinary Health Equity Research Center and is the largest research funding commitment ever awarded to Delaware State University in its 131-year history.
Delaware State University President Dr. Tony Allen and Associate Vice President for Research Dr. Melissa Harrington will detail the partnership of academic disciplines that will come with the establishment of an Interdisciplinary Health Equity Research Center.
