YMCA of Delaware announces Fall Festivals

WILMINGTON — The YMCA of Delaware announces its annual Fall Festivals held across various Y locations during the last weekend of October.

These free events offer a safe, festive environment for families to come together and enjoy fall activities including Trunk or Treats, haunted houses, music, and costume contests.

October events are:

Western Family YMCA – 2600 Capitol Trail, Newark

  • Trunk or Treat: Oct. 26 at 4 p.m.
  • Fall Festival: Oct. 26 from 4 – 8 p.m.

Brandywine YMCA – 3 Mount Lebanon Rd., Wilmington

  • Trunk or Treat: Oct. 25 from 6 – 8 p.m.

Walnut Street YMCA – 1000 North Walnut St., Wilmington

  • Trunk or Treat: Oct. 24 at 6 p.m.
  • Haunted House: Oct. 25 from 7 – 10 p.m.

Bear-Glasgow Family YMCA – 351 George Williams Way, Newark

  • Fall Festival: Oct. 26 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
  • Trunk or Treat: Oct. 26 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Middletown Family YMCA – 202 E. Cochran St., Middletown

  • Trunk or Treat: Oct. 26 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Dover YMCA Outdoor Center – 825 Kenton Rd., Dover

  • Trunk or Treat: Oct. 25 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Sussex Family YMCA – 20080 Church St., Rehoboth Beach

  • Trunk or Treat & Haunted House: Oct. 25 from 5 – 7 p.m.

YMCA Fall Festivals are designed to unite Delawareans from all backgrounds. The Y's commitment to strengthening the community is reflected in these fun-filled events that promote connection, inclusion, and family fun.
