Rehoboth Ave. to be paved in September

REHOBOTH BEACH — The City of Rehoboth Beach announced Aug. 1 it is coordinating with the Delaware Department of Transportation to pave Rehoboth Ave. from the bandstand to the traffic circle this fall.

The project includes removing the top layer of paving, resurfacing, restriping and some curb work, the city said in a release.

While remaining hopeful the project can be completed this fall, this city said weather conditions may stall the project during winter, and would then be complete by May 2025.
