Felton’s Baione catches vibe with new album
Jazzy vibraphonist includes dad’s compositions, daughter’s voice

With his latest album, it’s a family affair for Joe Baione.
“Vibe Check,” from the Felton jazz vibraphonist and leader of The Joe Baione Vibraphone Experience, contains six original compositions, plus three songs written by his late father, Jim Baione, over 40 years ago. It also features the vocal stylings of his daughter, Alexis Baione.
