Volunteers needed for annual dolphin count at Delaware beaches


LEWES — The Marine Education, Research & Rehabilitation Institute needs volunteers from Fenwick Island to Woodland Beach for its annual bottlenose dolphin count, scheduled 9-11 a.m. July 20.

Volunteers will be stationed at observation points and tasked with collecting data, which will be used to determine the stability of local bottlenose dolphin populations.
