Milford officials set to break ground for corporate center

Posted

City of Milford officials will hold a groundbreaking ceremony Tuesday, March 4, at 11 a.m. for the new corporate center, which will be located at N.W. Harrington Highway and Canterbury Road.

The 180-acre site, being marketed by NAI Emory Hill, will offer 27 parcels ranging from 3.2 to 8.4 acres. Possible uses of the parcels range from small offices to large industrial enterprises, officials said.

The corporate center also will provide a sewage-pumping station and new water tower, as well as public amenities such as walking trails. The city of Milford will provide signage and a roundabout.

The initiative also has benefited from a $2.7 million grant from the Delaware Site Readiness Fund.
