Dreyer: Primaries should be open to registered independents

How about allowing registered independent voters to vote in primary elections ("It's time to mobilize Delaware voters")? This will not only increase turnout in primaries but will also encourage independents to vote in generals, hopefully for those candidates they supported in the primary. Thank you for your consideration.

Hopefully, there will be a large turnout — not only in Delaware but all across the country — for the most important election of our lifetime to retain our democracy.
