DOVER — Two Dover residents were arrested on firearms-related offenses Wednesday, authorities said.
According to Dover police spokesman Sgt. Mark Hoffman, Trequon Seth, 23, was the subject of a firearms investigation when contacted by officers on Country Drive at approximately 2:50 p.m. He was found in possession of a 9 mm handgun and approximately 57 grams of marijuana, police said.
Police alleged that Aalyah Casson, 21, provided Mr. Seth with the firearm.
Mr. Seth was charged with possession of a firearm/ammunition by a person prohibited (three counts), carrying a concealed deadly weapon, illegal gang participation and possession of marijuana. He was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution, Georgetown, on a $46,050 secured bond.
Ms. Casson was charged with giving a firearm to a person prohibited and released on a $3,000 unsecured bond.
