The Cloud Geeks receives award for supporting vets

DOVER – On Nov. 10, a Dover-based IT support firm will be recognized for its commitment to supporting military veterans. 

The firm, Cloud Geeks, will be awarded the Platinum Medallion Award.

The Honoring Investments in Recruiting and Employing American Military Veterans (HIRE Vets) Medallion Program implements the requirements of the HIRE Vets Act of 2017 (Public Law 115-31).

The HIRE Vets Medallion Award is the only federal award recognizing exceptional achievement in veteran employment.

By meeting the criteria required for a Platinum Medallion Award, The Cloud Geeks, LLC demonstrated both patriotism and recognition of the value veterans bring to the workplace, according to the award's presenters

Cloud Geeks have been previously honored with this award in 2020.
