DOVER — A 33-year-old man was arrested Wednesday after a string of burglaries along the U.S. 13 corridor, Dover police spokesman Sgt. Mark Hoffman said.

Police said there were 10 burglaries at businesses in close proximity of each other from Aug. 8 to Oct. 5. Investigating detectives identified Tyreek Holmes as a suspect and he was taken into custody without incident, police said.

Mr. Holmes was charged with 10 counts each of third-degree burglary and criminal mischief, seven counts each of theft and possession of burglar tools, and two counts of wearing a disguise during the commission of a felony.

He was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $10,750 secured bond.
