Sankofa offers African drum and dance for beginners

DOVER — The Sankofa African Drum and Dance Co. will offer a beginners' African drum and dance class later this month.
The lessons begin May 20. Lessons will be held each Thursday at the Sankofa Cultural Arts Center, 39 S. West St., Dover, from 6-7:30 p.m. Dr. Tamica Potts will be returning to Sankofa as an instructor.
See more information about programs online and call 883-2180 to register. Students aged 8-18 are welcome.
