Several Delaware grassroots organizations are sponsoring an online discussion about the history of the Senate filibuster and how that parliamentary obstacle is being used to block debate on legislation to protect the freedom to vote.

The informational webinar will begin at 7 p.m. today. It is free and open to the public, but registration is required. To register, visit here.

Speakers in the webinar are Tom Irvine, Southern Delaware Alliance for Racial Justice; Coby Owens, Delaware NAACP; and Aaron Scherb, Common Cause.
