Man stable after being shot in Milford

MILFORD — A man was in stable condition after being shot once Thursday, Milford police spokesman Sgt. Robert Masten said.

Several rounds were discharged toward the victim during the incident at approximately 8:29 p.m. in the 400 block of North Street, authorities said. The injuries suffered were non-life-threatening, and the man was transported to Bayhealth Hospital, Sussex Campus, according to police.

Police asked anyone with information on the incident to call 422-8081 or Delaware Crime Stoppers at (800) TIP-3333. Tips can also be submitted on the Milford Police Department website.
