Fatal White Oak Road crash victim identified

DOVER — Delaware State Police have identified the victim who died in a crash on White Oak Road west of Bayside Drive in Dover on Saturday morning as Alan Keesser, 59, of Camden.

Mr. Keesser was driving a 2002 Toyota Highlander, traveling eastbound on White Oak Road towards Bayside Drive (Del. 9) at approximately 8:18 a.m., according to authorities. The Toyota drifted from the eastbound lane, across the westbound lane and off the northern edge of the roadway. The Toyota traveled down into a ditch before striking a large tree.

After impact, the Toyota rolled over onto its roof for a final resting place, partially within the westbound lane.
