Drug charges follow search warrant execution in Dover

DOVER — Two persons were charged with drug offenses following a Tuesday search warrant execution in the 400 block of East Water Street, Dover police spokesman Sgt. Mark Hoffman said.

Derek Johnson, 22, and Terri Cave-Martin, 21, were arrested without incident at their residence at approximately 12:10 p.m., authorities said. Officers seized a total of 221.3 grams of marijuana, 5.1 grams of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia, Sgt. Hoffman said.

Mr. Johnson was charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana, possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of crack cocaine, endangering the welfare of a child and breach of release. He was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution, Georgetown, on a $27,100 secured bond.

Ms. Cave-Martin was charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana, possession of marijuana, endangering the welfare of a child, second-degree conspiracy and maintaining a drug property. She was released on an $18,000 unsecured bond.
