Dover High students neighborhood sign challenge

Posted

DOVER — Two Dover High school students, Shane Doyle and Derek Sweet, decided to spend a hot summer day beautifying their neighborhood sign at the Woodlands of Foxhall.

They weeded, repaired the sign, cleaned the sign and cut down brush to make the sign more visible from both directions.

They even bought mulch and plants to add a special touch to their project. The teenagers wanted to be proud of their neighborhood entrance and they wanted all their neighbors to be proud.

Shane and Derek believe there are neighborhood signs all over Dover that could use some sprucing up.

They are challenging kids all over Dover to get out and beautify their own neighborhood signs.
