Posted

On Wednesday, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Delaware extended the judicial emergency which has allowed the courts to stay in phase II of Gov. John Carney’s reopening plan.

According to a copy of the order, this means the courts will continue to use audiovisual communication devices wherever possible with the exception of jury trials. The suspension of the time requirements outlines under the speedy trial guidelines will also continue.
