DOVER — A 32-year-old man was arrested in connection with an attempted robbery at a Royal Farms store Tuesday, Dover police spokesman Sgt. Mark Hoffman said.

Michael Wright was contacted during a traffic stop at approximately 10 p.m. Wednesday. Police said he matched the description of the suspect in the incident at 295 S. DuPont Highway.

A vehicle search yielded an article of clothing matching that worn by the suspect during the robbery attempt, Sgt. Hoffman added.

Mr. Wright was charged with first-degree attempted robbery and wearing a disguise during the commission of a felony. He was issued a $600 cash bail.
