Sussex County to consider controversial Savannah Rd. office

Posted

GEORGETOWN — As part of its regular meeting on Aug. 13, the Sussex County Council has scheduled a review of whether to allow the operation of an office at the intersection of Route 9 and Quaker Rd. in Lewes, which has drawn an unusual amount of opposition from residents.

More than 14 comments were received by the county with about three-quarters of them opposed for reasons like traffic and parking.

The discussion will take place as part of the old business section of the meeting, following the consent agenda. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m.
