Mini golf with maximum fun, networking

Posted

Spring weather has officially arrived, and the Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce knows many businesspeople are ready to connect with others for networking in the great outdoors before the summer heat arrives. The CDCC is presenting the perfect event to do just that: The Chamber Mini Masters Mixer happening Wednesday, May 28, at Tre Sorelle Dolce Ice Cream and Mini-Golf in Wyoming, 27 S. Railroad St., from 4-7 p.m. This dual mini-golf tournament and Sunset Business Mixer event promises master-level networking opportunities, competitive camaraderie, lively music, food, drinks and more.

Registration is now open for your team of four talented putters to show off their mini-golf skills, team spirit and company pride. Don’t wait to put together your team of co-workers, best pals or family members for this fun-filled, friendly golf tournament. Think about sporting coordinated costumes to proudly represent your business to the Central Delaware community. Start practicing your putting and sign up at www.cdcc.net/events/chamber-events.

Make a note of these few points for the CDCC’s Mini Masters Mixer: 1. You don’t have to be a golfer to attend. 2. There will be lots of prizes for the golfers and spectators. 3. The best team scorecard wins the coveted CDCC BLUE jacket and bragging rights for the year. 4. Spectators are expected to cheer on the golf teams. 5. You must have fun! Although the main attraction will be on the green at Tre Sorelle Dolce, there will be plenty of activities and entertainment available for spectators and mixer attendees. Be part of this memorable event, and enjoy delicious refreshments, yard games, cornhole, music, a 50/50 cash raffle and door prizes galore.

Along with the mini-golf fun, this event is a great networking opportunity to secure qualified business leads. You can increase your company’s exposure with your attendance, network with like-minded individuals from the area, share business cards, and make meaningful connections with the goal of joining together to help grow the Central Delaware community. CDCC members are welcome to bring a business guest who would enjoy learning about the benefits offered with a CDCC membership.

The CDCC would like to thank their sponsors for supporting this event. This includes (as of May 9): Tournament Sponsor Dover Pools, and Hole & Team Sponsors: Bally’s Dover Casino Resort, Chesapeake Utilities Corp., Hodges Accounting & Tax Services, and Visit Central Delaware/Kent County Tourism Corp. A variety of sponsorship opportunities are still available to showcase your business. Email cfriese@cdcc.net for more information.

In addition, the CDCC thanks Tre Sorelle Dolce owners Mike and Becky Marasco and their team for welcoming the community into their facility for a fun-filled, memorable evening.

Don’t delay in registering your team — slots are filling up. For more information or to register for golf or attend as a spectator, please call the CDCC at 302-734-7513 or visit www.cdcc.net.

The CDCC is so excited to see your competitive faces and A-game on the green or cheering on the sidelines at Tre Sorelle Dolce Ice Cream & Mini Golf on Wednesday, May 28, from 4-7 p.m.
