REHOBOTH BEACH — The remnants of Tropical Storm Debby may be gone but not entirely forgotten, as the many warnings and watches associated with it’s arrival all expired as of today at 6 a.m., according to the National Weather Service.
Four advisories were declared as the storm’s remains rolled through the area: a coastal flood advisory, a high surf advisory, a wind advisory and a rip current statement.
A tornado watch was issued for the entire state Friday, which expired at 2 p.m.
The last to expire is the coastal flood advisory, which lasts until 6 a.m. Saturday and warns of high surf and rip current possibility.
The wind advisory expires Friday at 11 p.m., and warns of south winds 15-25 mph, with gusts between 40-50 mph across the entire state.
Rip current and high surf advisories expire at 8 p.m. Friday.
