Sailwinds Park was the place to be for a community-wide celebration under the sunset on May 19 in Cambridge. The public was invited to a fun, casual evening at the 2022 Stars of the Banner Celebration, honoring winners of the Dorchester Banner readers’ poll. The crowd enjoyed food trucks, free cupcakes, live music by Tranzfusion and on-stage presentations of the Hometown Heroes awards. This year, Dorchester’s state legislative delegation also presented the Dorchester Banner with official commendations for 125 years in business and 10 years of Hometown Heroes.
