DAGSBORO — No injuries were reported in a fire that heavily damaged a structure Monday.

The Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office said the blaze, reported shortly before 7 a.m., occurred in the 30000 block of Power Plant Road. The Dagsboro Volunteer Fire Department arrived on the scene and found smoke and flames coming from a single-family mobile home with additions. The structure was occupied, but its residents escaped, spokesman John Galaska said.

Mutual-aid fire companies also assisted at the scene.

State fire officers arrived to determine the origin and cause, and the incident remains under investigation. Damage was estimated at $5,000.
