Mediation center director speaks to Cambridge Rotary

Jennifer Williams, executive director of Mid-Shore Community Mediation Center, talked to members of the Rotary Club of Cambridge regarding the work the center does in helping people work through their problems and conflicts. 

The center helps to keep their clients out of the court system by having mediators work with both parties to discuss and settle their differences. She also explained the importance of their volunteers. With training provided, the Mediation Center looks for individuals interested and willing to transform conflicts into opportunities.

Jenn is a restorative practices trainer and certified community mediator primarily working with public school systems to train staff and implement systems in restorative practices. She attended Hood College and Salisbury University where she completed an M.A. in conflict resolution. She reviews partnerships with local courts and school systems as well as nonprofits.
