Magi Fund's 'Wonder of Christmas' performance Nov. 19 in Salisbury

SALISBURY — The Magi Fund will hold an all-new holiday concert, “The Wonder of Christmas,” for one performance only on Saturday, November 12, 2022.

The show will be at 3 p.m. in the 2,000 seat Emmanuel Church Auditorium on Beaglin Park Drive in Salisbury.

It will feature the renowned National Christian Choir and the Salisbury Children’s Choir.

The Magi Fund, an all-volunteer nonprofit organization, has for three decades staged musical events as fundraisers for the Joseph House Center and the Christian Shelter. Throughout its existence, the Magi Fund has devoted 100% of ticket proceeds to benefit those two charities, which provide meals, housing and crisis intervention for the region’s needy.

“Throughout the year, we are encouraged by members of the community to continue providing this holiday event to kick off the Christmas season, and each year God makes a way for us to do so,” said Magi Fund Chairman Bonnie Luna. “We are often told by attendees that the concert sets the tone for their holiday and many say it is the highlight.”

“Tickets for Magi concerts have always been in high demand,” Luna added. “The fact there will be only one show this year will just make this more so. I urge anyone interested in attending to get their tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment."

Luna said most tickets will be pre-sold by mail, but they are also available at the Country House in Salisbury and all branches of First Shore Federal Savings and Loan in Salisbury, Ocean Pines, Snow Hill, Pocomoke City, Berlin and Ocean View.

Tickets are $15 in advance. If any remain on the day of the concert, they will be $20 at the door.
