FISHING CREEK — On Wednesday, August 25, members of the Dorchester County Narcotics Task Force assisted members of the Homeland Security Investigation, RAC Eastern Shore, located in Cambridge, with the execution of a search and seizure warrant at 2541 Old House Point Road in Fishing Creek. The search of the residence revealed 1.26 kilograms, or 2.78 pounds of methamphetamine.

The search resulted in the arrest of a 34-year-old man of that address. It was also discovered that the man’s immigration status is in question, a report from the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office said.

Frederico Borquez Garcia was charged with several C.D.S. related felony charges and ordered held without bond. An Immigration detainer has been filed with the Dorchester County Detention Center.

The other agencies assisting were the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office, Natural Resources Police and the Maryland State Police. The investigation is open and further arrests are possible.
