Wesleyan Activities
The Cambridge Wesleyan Church is now offering two services. 8:30 a.m. Traditional service and 10:45 a.m. a Contemporary service Sunday.
The church is located at 801 Race St., Cambridge (corner of Race and Washington). Host pastor is Pastor Jack Diehl.
Noonday services
New Life Christian Church and Ministries, 923 Phillips St., Cambridge holds noonday services every Wednesday. 6:30 p.m. Bible Study Series “Managing Our Emotions.” Open to the public. For more information, contact New Life Church at: 410-221-7853.
Gleaners Class
The Gleaners Class of St. Paul’s UM Church in Cambridge will meet at 9:45 a.m. Sunday with Gary Hickman teaching the lesson. The Richardson Men’s Class will be taught by Randy Bradford.
Nazarene Services
On Sunday at 10:45 a.m. the Rev. Richard Prahl will be preaching on Epiphany Sunday on Matthew 2:1-12. Special music will be provided by the Rev. Tim Thompson. The church is located at 97 Sandy Hill Road in Cambridge. The public is invited to all services.
Poor Man’s Supper
Bethel AME Church, 623 Pine St., Cambridge will hold its annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Poor Man’s Supper at 2 p.m. on Jan. 12 at the church.
Keynote speaker will be Sandy Hill Elementary School Principal Vaughn Evans. Also featured will be a presentation by Yolanda Payne Parker and The Progressive Male Chorus of Bethel AME Church.
The menu will consist of Oven baked chicken, green beans, potatoes, black-eyed peas, biscuit and Tea. Cost: adults, $10; children, ages 6-10, $5; ages 5 and under, free.
The Rev. Randolph Fitchett Jr. is host pastor. The supper is sponsored by Pastor’s Aide Ministry.
King Prayer Breakfast
Hurlock United Methodist Church will host the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Prayer Breakfast on Jan. 21 at 8:30 a.m. Guest speaker is the Rev. Cornelius Berry of New Beginnings United Methodist Church.
Guest vocalist is the Rev. Ashley Jones and Robert Batson is minister of Music. Taniya Waters will minister through dance.

Sister to Sister
Sister to Sister is a women’s ministry of the New Life Christian Church and Ministries. The ministry meets the 2nd Saturday of every month with a themed event for food, fellowship and/or prayer. There is no charge and all are welcome.
