Services at Grace UMC

Nazarene Services

At the Cambridge Church of the Nazarene, Sunday at 10:45 a.m. the Rev. Richard Prahl will be preaching on Mark 1:21-28. Carol Bloodsworth will minister in song.

There will be a Christmas Eve Service at 7 p.m. The community is invited to attend.

Wesleyan Activities

Richardson Men

The Gleaners Class of St. Paul’s UM Church in Cambridge will meet at 9:45 a.m. Sunday with Gloria Whaley having the devotions and Gary Hickman teaching. The Richardson Men’s Class will meet Sunday at 9:45 a.m. with Shawn Peters having the devotions and teaching the lesson.

Sister to Sister

Sister to Sister is a women’s ministry of the New Life Christian Church and Ministries. The ministry meets the 2nd Saturday of every month with a themed event for food, fellowship and/or prayer. There is no charge and all are welcome.

Men’s Day

Annual Men’s Day will be held at Zoar UM Church in Reid’s Grove at 3:30 p.m. Sunday.

Friendship Day

The Lillian Hollis Singers will celebrate their annual Friendship Day at 3 p.m. on Jan. 28 at Bethel AME Church in Cambridge.

The Rev. Linda Jones of Mt. Olive AME Church in Salisbury will be the guest preacher. The public is invited to attend.

The Rev. Randolph Fitfchett is host pastor. Darlene Jones is president.

Annual Ushers’

Anniversary

The Ushers of Waugh Chapel United Methodist Church, 425 High St., Cambridge, will host their Annual Ushers’ Anniversary on Feb. 4, 2018 at 3 p.m. The speaker will be the Rev. Lavone Chester Gray, former pastor of Anointed One Ministries in Cambridge. The service leader will be Ethel Murray.

Music will be led by Waugh Chapel’s combined choirs. All are welcome! Dinner will be provided after the program.
