Cambridge Rotary tours House of Hope

Posted

Members of the Rotary Club of Cambridge recently toured the Salvation Army’s House of Hope located at 200 Washington St. in Cambridge.

Opened in 2022, the facility provides a variety of services for people who have found themselves in need. Captain Wendy Parsons and director of the House of Hope Shane Walker explained some of the benefits such as the availability of a washer and dryer, computers for such things as job searches, some food supplies and hygiene supplies. They stressed it is not a housing location.

Other agencies have provided brochures which people can pick up to find to help get services they may need. People just need to come in and they will help direct them.
