CAMBRIDGE — Viking wrestlers can claim local bragging rights for another year, after winning possession of the county championship flag on Friday. C-SD beat visiting North Dorchester High School 52-22 to gain the trophy, which is marked with the years it has spent at either school. “We wrestle for it, and the winners switch it,” C-SD senior Caleb Crain said. Rivalries extended from the schools to individual athletes. Viking Zach Peters (113 pounds) won a lively and hard-fought bout edging out ND’s Noe Cervantes 12-11. “Noe beat Peters pretty convincingly earlier this year,” Vikings’ Head Coach Dan Catron said. “So that was a good comeback win for him.” Other results were: ND forfeited to Christian James (C-SD 106 pounds); Joe Bates (ND 120) beat Tre Prattis; ND forfeited to Gavin Garcia (C-SD 126); Cullen Cannon (C-SD 132) beat Jalen Teagle; C-SD forfeited to Mizell Cooper (ND 138); C-SD forfeited to Jayke Conner (ND 145); Caleb Crain (C-SD 152) beat Sean Holiday; Harrison Spies (C-SD 160) beat Jonathan Chan; Khalil Harris (C-SD 170) beat Evan Jones; Rhyheem Johnson (C-SD 182) beat Justin Harding; Kris Williams (C-SD 195) beat Austin Loeffler; ND forfeited to (Eric North C-SD 220); and Dylan Darby (ND 285) beat Alex Morh.
