Speak Up: Code Purple Kent County benefits from Firefly leftovers

Code Purple Kent County has appeared at the Firefly Music Festival many more times than any one act. After thousands upon thousands of attendees depart from the Woodlands of Dover’s 105 acres Sunday — possibly leaving behind tents, sleeping bags and tarps — Code Purple’s hundreds of volunteers swoop in Monday morning, joining some of its partnering nonprofits to gather anything that could be useful for those in need.
