Anglers flocking to the historic fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park will be greeted by a new vendor this spring. The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control is casting for a concessionaire to manage the bait and tackle shop there. On Dec. 7, 2022, the department’s Division of Parks and Recreation began recruitment efforts by issuing a request for proposals for the management and operation of the shop. The anticipated commencement of the incoming vendor’s role is March 15.
