Smyrna teen to appear on ‘Wheel of Fortune’

Posted

SMYRNA — Kaden Nye, a homeschooled eighth grader from Smyrna, will be on “Wheel of Fortune’s” “Teen Week” Wednesday night.

A lifelong dream come true, Kaden has been watching the show since he was born and watches every night with his parents. For Halloween, Kaden wants to be Pat Sajak.

His strategy for the show is to be “calm as a cucumber,” take advantage of the used letter board, and to buy vowels. With any winnings, he would like to move his grandma out of her current house, and put her in a nicer house to live comfortably.

The show can be seen on 6 ABC WPVI-TV at 7:30 p.m.

Kaden will be appearing during Wheel of Fortune’s “Teen Week.” He will be competing against other teens to solve hangman-style puzzles and win once-in-a-lifetime vacations, new cars, and cash prizes!.

Wheel of Fortune fans can submit applications here for a chance to be invited to a virtual audition. There, potential contestants can show off their puzzle-solving skills and potentially be selected to appear as a contestant on the show from the comfort of their own homes.

If selected to be on the show, everyone goes home with a minimum of $1,000.
