Shots fired in Dover home invasion

DOVER - City police said they are investigating a home invasion in which two unknown suspects forced open a locked front door early Tuesday morning and fired a gun six times, striking walls and a couch.

Authorities said the incident occurred in the 100 block of Spruance Road at 2:40 a.m. Police said a victim reported being chased through the home by a suspect who then fled out the back door with the other suspect.

The suspects were described as two black males, with unknown height/weight or clothing. The victim was not injured.

Dover PD asked anyone with information to call 736-7111. Callers may remain anonymous.
