WILMINGTON – The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces to motorists that paving operations in advance of a full I-95 Southbound weekend closure will require overnight closures of the Exit 6, MLK Boulevard/4th Street and Exit 7A, Del. 52 South/Delaware Avenue off-ramps in Wilmington.
Dates (pending weather) and location:
Sunday 9/25 and Monday 9/26: Overnight Closure (8PM to 5AM) of Exit 7A, SR 52 South/Delaware Avenue from I-95 Southbound.
Tuesday 9/27 and Wednesday 9/28: Overnight Closure (8PM to 5AM) of Exit 6, MLK Boulevard/ 4th Street off ramp from I-95 Southbound.
Detours:
Exit 7A closure: Take Exit 6 off ramp, left on 4th Street, left on Adams Street back to Delaware Avenue.
Exit 6 closure: Take Exit 7A off ramp, left onto Adams Street, left onto Delaware Avenue, right onto VanBuren Street, right onto Gilpin Avenue, right onto Jackson Street.
