Never-before-seen items unveiled at Milford exhibit about Civil War general

The Milford Museum has a new exhibit on a prominent old-time figure: Gen. Alfred T.A. Torbert. Born in Georgetown on July 1, 1833, Gen. Torbert fought for the Union during the Civil War and later served in several diplomatic posts.
