A memorial service for the late historian Lucreatia Wilson will be held at 12 p.m. Feb. 22 at Star Hill AME Church, 357 Voshells Mill Star Hill Rd in Dover.
Ms. Wilson was a passionate chronicler of the stories of enslaved African Americans who passed through Delaware along the Underground Railroad. She collected many artifacts from that era, many of which she had on display at the museum in Star Hill AME.
The late historian died Jan. 2 from injuries related to a fire at her home in late December. She was 82.
