DOVER - A 27-year-old man was shot three times on Tuesday afternoon, and authorities said a person of interest is in custody.
The Dover Police Department said the alleged incident occurred at approximately 3:01 p.m. in the 100 block of S. Queen Street. The wounded man was taken to Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital for treatment, police said.
Limited details were available as the investigation was ongoing, according to authorities.
