LAUREL — Faedra Parker, 36, of Laurel, was arrested on burglary and related charges following an incident on Sunday, authorities said.

According to Delaware State Police spokesman Senior Cpl. Leonard DeMalto, the alleged incident occurred at approximately 8:50 p.m., when troopers responded to the Lakeside Motel at 30931 Sussex Highway for a report of an altercation.

Investigation determined that Ms. Parker and Junior Dorvilier, 33, of Seaford, forced their way into a motel room, occupied by a 25-year-old acquaintance, where they physically assaulted him.

Police said the man sustained injuries to his head during the incident but refused medical treatment at the scene.

Police said Ms. Parker and Mr. Dorvilier fled in a vehicle. Active arrest warrants were then obtained.

On Monday, Ms. Parker turned herself in to the Laurel Police Department and was charged with first-degree burglary, strangulation, second-degree conspiracy and third-degree assault. She was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 2 and was released on her own recognizance.

Mr. Dorvilier has not been located and is sought on first-degree burglary, second-degree conspiracy and offensive touching charges. He also has multiple active warrants for a vehicle pursuit that occurred in October 2021, violation of probation and other court capiases, police said.

DSP ask anyone with information on Mr. Dorvilier’s whereabouts to contact Trooper Heald of Troop 5 at 302-337-1090. Private messages can be sent to the DSP Facebook page. Any information can also be submitted to Delaware Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-TIP-3333 or online at delaware.crimestoppersweb.com.
