FREDERICA — Kent County Chapter 850, Vietnam Veterans of America, will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21 at Frederica Senior Center.

Lunch will be available starting at noon at the center for $8.

The chapter is noted for its CASH (Canines Assisting Service Heroes) program that trains service dogs for disabled veterans who reside in Delaware who have been diagnosed with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Traumatic Brain Injury or Military Sexual Trauma with service dogs trained by Riedel K-9.

To date 14 dogs have been provided with three more in training.

All Vietnam and era veterans are welcome to its monthly meetings.
