The workshop is scheduled 4-5 p.m., with social time afterward.

Topics will include proper formatting of real estate transfer and mortgage documents to reduce rejected documents and speed up the recording process without losing accuracy; a new tax form required by the state; an updated procedure to notate recorded documents that have been rescanned; and a new note to searchers about indexing conventions.

Similar events will be planned for lenders and Realtors in the months to come.
