Is the prospect of running a successful business still a vivid dream that keeps you awake, or are you currently facing obstacles in registering, staffing or paperwork? Whichever stage you find yourself in as you are chasing your business dreams and goals, it helps to have guidance and information from people who are knowledgeable and willing to support you through your journey. The Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce (CDCC) is proud to present a free business development session to the community on the first Thursday of every month. Mark your calendar for June 2, from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at Kent County Levy Court for the CDCC’s next session.

Kent County Open for Business is your one-stop shop for growing your business, getting connected to Delaware organizations, and partnering with agencies whose sole focus is to help business professionals like you advance in their ventures. During each session, attendees can expect to talk face-to-face with representatives from the Delaware Division of Small Business, Delaware Small Business & Technology Development Center, Downtown Dover Partnership, SCORE Delaware, and Kent Economic Partnership, Inc., just to name a few. All participants and agencies are curated to cover the various needs to conduct business credibly in the state of Delaware.
No matter your industry or business category, Kent County Open for Business will provide you with critical and potentially life-changing information to advance your business to the next level. Kent County Open for Business representatives are experienced professionals who have a passion for serving the central Delaware community and those who wish to continue making it the place to live, work and play. The purpose of this event is to encourage any potential and established business professional to continue supporting small businesses here in the county.

The CDCC urges everyone to attend this free business development session as many times as they can because there is so much information to be gained, even more so if you are from out of state. If you are interested in moving or starting your business in Central Delaware, this event is the perfect opportunity to learn about Delaware’s culture, business practices and protocols all while making connections with proficient individuals who will soon become friendly, familiar faces.
