GEORGETOWN — A 16-year-old female turned herself in to police Thursday and was charged with three misdemeanors in connection with a fight at Sussex Central High School’s graduation Tuesday, Delaware State Police said.
She faces charges of third-degree assault (two counts) and disorderly conduct, after being arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 3 and released to her parent.
The arrest stemmed from an altercation that also involved a 29-year-old man, who was charged with misdemeanor counts of offensive touching and disorderly conduct Wednesday, authorities said.
The investigation continues, and troopers ask anyone with information or anyone injured in the fight to contact Lt. M. DiSilvestro at 302-752-3818, send a message to the state police Facebook page or call Delaware Crime Stoppers at 800-847-3333.
