Seaford fifth grader’s ‘Scoop Dogg’ plows through as contest’s Sussex winner

To the delight of many except snow buffs, there hasn’t been a need for shoveling or plowing thus far this winter.

But the lack of fluffy stuff didn’t stop MiAsia Williams from getting the “scoop.” Amid loud horns and applause, the Frederick Douglass Elementary School fifth grader was honored by the Delaware Department of Transportation on Tuesday as the Sussex County winner of the “Name That Plow” contest.
