Duck Creek Gardeners presents ‘All about Roses’ in Smyrna
SMYRNA — The Duck Creek Gardeners welcomes Jim Sutton, the lead display designer to Longwood Gardens for a presentation titled, “All About Roses” June 5 at the Smyrna Opera House from 1 to 4 p.m.
The afternoon will feature a rose arranging demonstration and a behind the scenes account of the Pasadena Rose Parade. Tickets for the event are $35 and includes heavy hor d’oeuvres, refreshments, and a complimentary glass of wine. There will also have silent, live and chance auctions, plus a 50/50.
This fundraiser will support the Duck Creek Gardeners in promoting community horticultural programs and education. Tickets can be obtained by contacting Mike Lotz at 302-450-6215 or DCG.SMYRNA@gmail.com.
