CHESWOLD — Dover High School Class of 1973 will hold a 50 Year Reunion Gala on Saturday, Sept. 30 at the Cheswold Fire Hall.

The gala will be held from 5-10 p.m. beginning with a happy hour followed by dinner and dancing. A cash bar will be available.

Tickets are $60 per person and reservations are now open. Make checks payable to Karen Z. Bowden and mail to 406 Old Laurel Road, Georgetown, DE 19947.

There will be a casual class meet-up the night before the gala, Friday, Sept. 29 from 7-11 p.m. at Fraizer’s on the Water, at 9 East Loockerman St. Guests will be purchasing their own food and drink.

A tour of the new Dover High School is being offered on Saturday, Sept.30. Class members should gather at the school at 1 Dover High Drive (off route 8) at 10:30 am. The tour is free and should last about an hour.

This will also be homecoming weekend at DHS and some class members may want to attend the Homecoming Parade and football game on Friday.

Dr. Lorene K Robinson leads the reunion planning team. Members of the group include Lori Ridley Ennis, Karen Zisterer Bowden, Edna Tatman Bythwood, Paula Stokes, Debbie Virdin and Lisa Rasmussen.
