Dover Century Club to celebrate 125th anniversary
By Mike FinneyDOVER — The public is invited to the Dover Century Club’s 125th Anniversary Gala at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 17 at the Modern Maturity Center, 1121 Forrest Ave.
The dinner is a celebration of the club’s volunteer service and the accomplishments of its members, both past and present, who have dedicated themselves to community improvement.
The keynote speaker will be the president of the Delaware State Federation of Women’s Clubs, Patricia Rodriguez, who will present “Embracing Lives Star by Star.” Music will be performed by Angie Alper.
In addition, there will a raffle table with items donated by members and businesses, including gift certificates, gourmet food and wine baskets, a lottery ticket tree and antiques.

Proceeds from the event will support the club’s community improvement projects.
