Chamber names Mabus honorary mayor
Bayard Pharmacy owner Jenny Mabus was crowned honorary mayor Wednesday at the Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce’s Member to Member Expo, held at the Cheswold Fire House.
The Central Delaware Honorary Mayor Program was launched in 2012. Any member of the Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce can register to become a candidate for the office of Honorary Mayor of Central Delaware. The winner is selected based on monetary votes. The Honorary Mayor of Central Delaware is an “unofficial role” but involves members in chamber networking events and is a marketing program for those who participate.
